Lancaster County, PA

We are in Lancaster County, PA. So pretty here too. Very serene and peaceful. Went on a tour through the farmlands and stopped at several places along the way. Had fresh, hot out of the oven soft pretzels and homemade lemonade. Bill bought some home made Root Beer. Beautiful hand crafted furniture, quilts, etc. Lots of antiques here also.

Laundry is on clothes lines on pulleys that go way up

This farm raised reindeer

Their gardens are just gorgeous, yards are so tidy, neat and manicured

  1. Well, where do I start? Do they eat the reindeer? I only saw one picture of an amish boy...where are the adults? Looks like no one's around. Can't believe how tidy everything is! Just beautiful. Cool round birdhouses too.

  2. You're right, everything is so tidy. We were told the Amish don't like their picture taken, as adults, so we didn't take any.

  3. Those plants are hostas - after we saw them back east, I tried to grow them here. The snails LOVE them! Patti
