After 18 weeks, 25 states and 10,000 miles, we are home!! We had such an amazing "Big Adventure", we met so many wonderful people, caught up with old friends, saw such incredible sights, and dodged so many extreme weather conditions. We will never forget this trip and are so very grateful that we were able to go on such a journey. We are still amazed that we actually did it.
To those of you we met along the way, we loved meeting you and it made our trip that much better and would love to stay in touch, our email address is: snorie4@gmail.com
We tried to surprise the kids, but they weren't surprised when they saw us a few days early

Hot Springs near Boise, Idaho
Karen,Bill and I drove to Kirkham Hot Springs, about 1 1/2 hours from Eagle. Gorgeous drive, the Payette River running along the road, and so many pines along the mountains, it was about 90 today, and so beautiful. Perfect day. Hot springs felt great, the river was ice cold. Bill was the only one who braved that.

Newport, Oregon and Idaho City, Idaho
We were in Newport, Oregon visiting our friends Patt and Larry Hood. The weather was perfect. Blue sunny skies, perfect weather. We weren't there very long, but were glad we had a chance to visit.
We're in Boise, Idaho now visiting Karen, the girls and her new husband Kenny. Drove to Idaho City, Idaho, it's an old mining town from the l800's where the Chinese first settled. Still has remnants from the past. Such as the Pest Houe, which housed people that had contagious diseases. The old jail is still there, as well as the original City Hall and other various buildings.
This is actually someones home, he has so much stuff all over the house and yard, you can hardly see the house, there was actually a fire five years ago, but there is so much stuff all over it, you can't even tell anymore.

Washington, along the coast
We've been outside of Portland, Oregon for a few days at Jantzen Beach. Drove up the Washington coast to Long Beach, Washington. Can't believe we're only 16 hours from home after how far away we've been. We've been through 25 states and have been gone 4 months!
We have been so blessed to have been able to take a trip like this. We've met so many wonderful people and seen such incredible sites. We are anxious to see our family and friends so we're thinking we should be home within 1-2 weeks.
We're going to see friends in McMinnville and then we'll decide where we'll go from there.
Long Beach, Washington, just like Pismo Beach you can drive on the beach
